We source only our Local, all natural beef and seasonal Local ingredients to craft a robust, classic menu. With Chef created specials daily, we offer outside pavilion seating, and quick, friendly service. Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Seven Days a Week, with Family-Size To Go Options in our Grab & Go Freezer!

Our Retail Space Offers the widest selection of Local Meats in the area! From Hamburgers to Steaks to Roasts, to our own Hot Dogs and Kielbasa, you can taste the difference Local makes! All of our Beef is produced from the Cattle at our Farm located minutes from the restaurant, sustainably raised with no artificial ingredients.

The Farm

A Family Owned & Run Business

Autumn Mist Farm, located in Feeding Hills, MA, is a small, 100-acre family beef farm. Our fresh, local beef is all natural, with no added growth hormones, no implants or artificial ingredients, and is raised with pasture-access meaning the cattle is never confined to a feedlot atmosphere. Currently, we produce 130 of our own calves annually, source our feeder cattle and farm approximately 600 acres of hay and corn for our animals feed program.

Owner Derrick Turnbull, has been raising beef cattle since he was 11-years old. Active farmers themselves, parents Gary and Donna Turnbull, played a vital role in Derrick’s passion for agriculture. They enrolled him, as well as his sister Katie, to become 4-H members, sparking Derrick’s journey into farming. Both Derrick and his fiancé Tracy were born and raised with cattle, and are proud to surround their daughter’s, Autumn & Bailey with the same experiences, raising them in the family business. In Derrick’s own words, he is blessed to, “walk out the door & go to work” with all active family members in the business, it is no wonder why the farm continues to grow!

The Breeds

Meet Our Friends

We are ABF certified! Our animals are humanely raised with no steroids, hormones, or antibiotics. We raise a variety of breeds including Angus and Hereford, on local pastures. Our cattle are fed a balanced feed ration, in a free choice environment. They have open access to food, water, grains and minerals anytime they choose! Our shelters are large, and the pastures provide a roam-free environment. Bedding is frequently changed to provide a quality, happy life for each cow!

Knowing where your beef comes from is important, Autumn Mist Farm naturally raises it cattle so that you know the exact source. Sustainably-fed, local beef is our priority. We believe local is fresher. And as part of The Northeast Family Farms & The Mass Farm Bureau Federation, it is our mission to provide local communities with the highest quality beef!

Keeping the environment in mind, staying local with all of our products, ensures that we reduce our carbon footprint. Currently, our primary customers are restaurants and college dining facilities interested in serving fresh and local food. We are proud to announce that our beef has recently hit the shelves at local grocery stores. All of our beef is processed and shipped quickly, ensuring the freshest and highest quality for the customers!
